Barbeque Spare Ribs

Slow cooked to perfection, these ribs are smokey, juicy, flavorful, and full of kick. I have applied my time-tested dry rub recipe to ensure uniqueness and piquance that is sure to delight any fan of ribs, no matter where they are from. Add to it, the mopping sauce and, oh my, you be hard pressed to stop eating them - even if you are already full. This video was a true pleasure to shot, and this process nearly meets the "set it and forget it" lifestyle lusted for by many. Once the fire is set and you are sure you have enough coal...usually within the first hour and a half ...the next two and one half - three will be yours to do with as you like. When the sun shines, you can enjoy your favorite activities and come back to a pure delight upon your first bight. Try them soon, Spring is almost here you know. Approximate cooking time will vary due to the equipment you employ and the regularity of your temperature, but plan on 4-5 hours. It really isn't difficult, and can be attempted by ANYONE. If you can fire a grill, then you can enjoy this recipe. Grilled corn and homemade coleslaw are great accompaniments. Oh and don't forget the baked beans and mopping bread.

Atkins Diet Recipes: Buffalo Wings (IF)

These wings are some of the best reasons to go on the Atkins Diet. They are completely legal for all phases of the diet and absolutely delicious. The Diet Coke is a unique ingredient, but it really does the trick. I think by adding the wings to the simmering sauce, the collagen helps thicken the sauce as well. Ingredients 3 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded 1 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce (Franks Hot Sauce recommended) www.amazon.com 1 can Diet Coke with Splenda 1 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste 1 tsp ground black pepper, or to taste 1/2 tsp Thyme 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/2 TBS Dried Chopped Onions Instructions: * Cut the wings into pieces. * Mix other ingredients into large pot and start simmering. * Add wings to pot to give flavor * Heat Oil to 350-375F degrees * Add wings to fryer and cook until done (12-14 minutes) * Add wings back to Buffalo sauce and coat thoroughly (IF = Induction Friendly)

What's for dinner? Honey Garlic Spareribs

This is a recipe my grandmother used to make. Honey garlic spareribs recipe Cut up about 2.5 lbs of pork spare ribs into small sections and place in a large cooking pot with 1 large quartered onion and enough water to cover the ribs. Simmer ribs for approx. 1 hour. Drain water. Sauce: 1 cup honey 1/4 c soya sauce 1/2 c ketchup 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar) 1/2 tsp dry mustard 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 cup chicken broth (1cup hot water with two chicken bouillon cubes) Blend sauce ingredients and pour over drained ribs. Bake uncovered for 1 to 1.5 hours at 350F. Stir occasionally, turning and basting pieces. Ribs are done when meat is falling off of the bones. I served it here with stir fried veggies and rice. This makes lots of sauce, so you'll have some to pour over rice (or pasta). Music and opening sequence by You Tube's Jason Shaw. www.youtube.com

GreekFoodTv☼ Tzatziki - Greek Yogurt, Cucumber, Garlic Dip HD

Diane shows you this Greek meze classic, using Greek yogurt, olive oil, fresh herbs and cucumbers. Tzatziki is by far one of the best-known Greek recipes, a classic spread on every Greek restaurant menu across America and the world. It's also very healthy, with nothing but thick Greek yogurt, extra virgin olive oil, fresh cucumbers, dill, and a pinch of salt. Serve it on its own or with grilled chicken, lamb, or beef. Try your own souvlaki at home, too, with some tzatziki on the side. Serve pita bread with it! Serves 6 1 long thin cucumber, peeled and seeded 2 cups/480 ml strained Greek yogurt, chilled 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill 3 tbsp extra-virgin Greek olive oil 1 tbsp red wine vinegar (optional) Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1. Grate the cucumber on the coarse side of a box grater. Drain really well in a fine-mesh sieve for 10 minutes, then, taking a handful at a time, squeeze out as much of the excess liquid as possible in the palms of your hands. Transfer to a medium mixing bowl. 2. Combine the yogurt with garlic. Add the drained, squeezed cucumber and the dill. Pour in the vinegar and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Serve immediately. It should be served cold. Tzatziki is traditionally served as an appetizer and can be left on the table as an accompaniment to foods throughout the meal. The key to great tzatziki is the thick creamy texture that allows it to be eaten alone, as a dip, as a spread, and as a ...

Why just hot dogs?

I get calls daily, asking, Hey can I cook soup on your carts or can I do bbq, do you have a deep fryer option and can I serve potatoes? Simply the answer is yes! And most manufacturers will sell you whatever you want. I am here to help you though. It is no coincidence that most carts are serving up hot dogs, brats and sausages instead of something different and unique. 99.9% of the reason for this is that most states don't allow other food items to be served. Why? Well, serving food on an open cart can be unsafe. To prevent food borne illness most states only allow Non-potentially hazardous foods to be served. What this means is foods that are not as susceptible to bacteria growth. Pre-cooked hot dogs are one of only a few foods that are non-potentially hazardous and hence why you mostly only hear of hot dog carts, instead of pancake carts and soup carts. To be able to sell potentially hazardous foods, you would want to work from a mobile kitchen, a concession stand. You can almost serve anything you choose from these, but then you have stricter limitations on where and when you can set up. For the states that do allow you to have cheese sauce and soups and such, then by all means add whatever you want to your cart that will allow you to serve those foods. Here at BensCarts, we can include about anything on your cart. But I do not want to sell you a deep fryer or a bbq grill if you can't use it. My joy comes from your success, not from making a sale for only the sales ...

Baby Back Ribs on a Good-One Smoker.mp4

Today's cookout is Baby Back Ribs cooked on a Marshall Good-One Smoker. I have BBQ'd on many a grill, but the Good-One Smoker is a Bad Dude!!! The smoker chamber hold approx. 10lbs of lump charwood which when dampened down gives you about a 5 hour cook out. If you add whole fire logs, you can probably extend that a couple of hours. We accented the smoke with Peach wood chunks. Total cooking time was from 9:30 am to 12:30pm or right at 3 hours. The sauce was a blend of Three Little Pigs Chipolte Sauce and Steen's syrup (made down the street in Abbeville Louisiana). To quote a customer who came in at the right time..."I have traveled and sampled bbq from all over the country...and these are the best ribs I have ever tasted!" Done!

Is sushi healthy?

I went out with my friends for a sushi lunch date! I will be sharing you some tips on what to choose and what not to choose! The problem with sushi is that it has such a healthy standard attached to it but there are many rolls and dishes that are super high in calories and saturated fat. One shrimp tempura roll (fried shrimp) can have upwards of 508 calories. That's sad since I could put down two shrimp tempura rolls on my own — yikes! Here are some tips that can help make ordering sushi a little more healthier: 1) Steer clear of fried or battered foods, such as dumplings, tempura and spider rolls. There's no sense in making fish unhealthy. 2) When ordering at a Japanese restaurant, look for broiled, grilled or steamed items. Typically, soup and sashimi are low in calories. 3) Keep sodium down. Use less soy sauce or request the low-sodium kind. Also note that miso is quite high in sodium. 4) Limit the extras. Mayonnaise, cream cheese and even a creamy Japanese dressing on the green salad can add significant calories to what you're eating. 5) Avoid the feeding frenzy. Yes, there are many good sushi choices, but try to stick to one or two lower-calorie rolls. Order steamed veggies, hijiki (cooked seaweed) or oshitashi (boiled spinach with soy sauce) to fill you up. Hopefully on your next sushi outing, you remember these tips. Thanks so much for reading & watching! Find more fitness diet tips on my FB & Twitter! Check it out! Chicken Dip Recipe

Chef Jason Hill of CookingSessions.com shares his favorite spicy chicken dip recipe, shared by friend Morgan McKenzie. It's one of Jason's favorite Superbowl recipes. This is one of those semi homemade chicken dip recipes that's easy to throw together for a Superbowl party or other large gathering. It's sure to be a hit with your friends. To begin this recipe for chicken dip, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place 2 cups of diced chicken in a large mixing bowl and add 1 cup of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup hot sauce (more if you want it really spicy). To make this into a recipe for buffalo chicken dip, use Frank's Red Hot Sauce. We like to use Tapatio. To prepare this hot chicken dip recipe, you'll need a lightly greased quart-sized casserole dish. Spoon half of the mixture into the dish, then top with grated Monterey Pepper Jack Cheese and Fritos corn chips. Repeat another layer of grated cheese and Fritos and top with an additional grated cheese. Bake this cheese chicken dip recipe uncovered in a preheated 350 F oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove when hot and bubbly and serve the dip with a large bag of Fritos scoop chips. Now, just dig in and enjoy this spicy chicken dip recipe. Betty's Own Barbecue Sauce Recipe

It is a sweet and tangy blend of vinegar, ginger, jalapeno peppers, garlic, onion, molasses, ketchup, and orange juice. Today, I am only demonstrating how to make the barbecue sauce. Tomorrow, I will show all of these steps incorporated into making Barbecued Bone-In Countrystyle Ribs. Rick had coutrystyle ribs as part of the food bar he enjoyed at the Riverview Restaurant at Cumberland Falls (in a previous upload), and that is the food item from our meals that I decided to make for you! Ingredients (plenty for about 5 pounds of meat): 2 cups orange juice 3 tablespoons cider vinegar 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, finely chopped 3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup onion, minced ¾ cup molasses ¾ cup ketchup 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground sea salt 1 teaspoon freshly ground black peppercorns In a 13-inch by 9-inch by 2-inch baking pan, combine 2 cups orange juice, 3 tablespoons cider vinegar, 3 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger, 3 chopped jalapenos, 3 minced cloves of garlic, and 1/4 cup minced onion. At this point, you would add your meat and marinate it for one hour, checking every 15 minutes or so to rotate it if it is not completely covered with the marinade. (If you are making just the barbecue sauce, you will not need the large baking pan, and you would just start by placing the mixture in a small saucepan.) If you have used the mixture for ...

BBQ Chicken Recipe - How to Make the Most Tender BBQ Chicken

BBQ chicken recipe ingredients

2 x 4-5lb roasting chickens
Olive Oil
Dark Soy sauce
Black pepper

Marinade the roasting chickens first by basting them with equal parts of olive oil, dark soy sauce and crack over about half a tablespoon of black peppercorns. For best results place the roasting chickens on the upper rack area of your BBQ smoker at around 250f to 300f for around 4 or so hours until the internal temperature of the chickens reach 180f.

Tend to your smoker once or twice during the smoking process and top up with wood chips as appropriate. Don't forget to add some extra water to the smokers water pan to ensure that your chickens are getting a light moist smoke throughout the whole cooking process.

Once the chicken has cooked properly, remove the whole chickens from your smoker and wrap them in some plastic freezer bags or aluminum foil and leave the birds to rest for around 30 minutes or so.

Now that the chickens have had plenty of time to absorb the flavours and rest, remove them from your wrap, and gently pull off the tender meat and discard the BBQ chicken juices. A Weber Smoky Mountain or Big Green Egg are ideal smokers for 2-4 medium sized roasting chickens but you can use any smoking apparatus that you have to hand and cook as many as you wish according to the amount of people you have to feed using the same recipe.

Cooking "low-and-slow" on your smoker or grill is the best way to go if you are looking for the best tasting BBQ chicken. Lowering cooking times and turning up the temperature will allow you to serve your meats faster to your guests, but the results will not be as good.

Once you have removed the wings and legs, carefully cut along the breastbone of each chicken and cut it into a few pieces to your liking. You should notice how tender the meat is as you will observe all of the remaining moisture in the meat because you have cooked your chicken to perfection. It is now time to serve the meat to your guests and enjoy that delicious BBQ chicken taste.

Not an arbitrary choice but the third place we tried to get find a vacancy, each time going up the price scale. Still not a bad place, but cost $70/nite Australian, and has a nice pool in the court yard. [GPS 16 55.197S 145 46.439E from the street in front] There is no beach near here though. We cleared out the van and take it to the Wicked depot to turn in and got our deposit back with no problem. We have driven 3346 kilometers or about 2091 miles of Australia, from Sydney to Cairns including side trips. We couldn't have seen as much of Australia as we did without the van, but it will be nice having someone else do the driving from here on. As soon as we could, we got on the train up into the mountains to Kuranda, which is something Irina has been talking about for 13 years, when she had visited Cairns. Arvid wants to see what she's been talking about. It's a steep and picturesque railroad trip winding up through rainforests and numerous tunnels to Kuranda on the Atherton Tablelands. Entry from: Rotorua, New Zealand Entry Title: "It Bloody Stinks" Entry: "They love to have a joke about Australians. It mostly boils down to Rugby and Cricket, unlike jokes in European countries where jokes are often derived from some sort of cultural and historical difference. However such one joke I found amusing told to me by a guide around Hells Gate, was: - A Maori guy just arrives in Australia and walks up to customs at Sydney airport. Customs Official - Have you got a criminal record? Maori - I didn't realise you still had to have one. Made me laugh, I dare anyone to fill in their visa when they arrive in Australia and put that. After finding a campsite pretty late, we decided to get very drunk. We had a great game of **** Head (great card game) and ended up pretty ****. We over indulged on foam bananas and doritos and mixed with the volumes of Bourbon and Coke made for a very uncomfortable sleep. This place stinks. It is basically a town built on a volcano and in just about every garden you can see steam coming from the ground filling the air with a sulfuric stink much like rotten eggs. We sat on the lake-side for a while and had one of those travel moments where you have to reflect on how random the whole situation you are in, is. Maple Barbecued Chicken

This one was found on the about.com website. Ingredients: 3 to 4 tablespoons melted butter 8 chicken drumsticks (or about 1 1/2 lbs of chicken pieces like leg quarters) salt and pepper 1/2 cup maple syrup 2 tablespoons chili sauce 2 tablespoons ketchup 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons grated onion 1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon black pepper dash Tabasco Preparation: Heat oven to 375°. Coat chicken drumsticks with butter; sprinkle all over with salt and pepper. Place in a lightly greased baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring. Lower heat to medium-low; simmer for 10 minutes. Brush drumsticks with the mixture and bake for about 10 minutes longer, until chicken is done. Serves 4. What I did differently for this one is that I poured off the fat before putting the bbq sauce on and I brushed the pieces on both sides with the sauce and then poured the rest of the sauce over top.

When Bill arrived Mr. Hurdle showed him some family pictures. Bill was then presented with a huge plate of food. Carolina Brothers makes a vinegar based "North Carolina style" sauce which has a unique flavor. Needless to say Bill wasn't hungry for the rest of the day.

How To Make Barbecue Sauce, Barbeque Sauce or BBQ Sauce

In this video Tiedyeman shows how to make homemade barbeque sauce or BBQ sauce or barbecue sauce. How ever you spell it, I say it has a Q in it, but my computer's spell checker says it's spelled with a C instead of a Q. That doesn't look right to me, and if it doesn't have a Q then why is the abbreviation BBQ? Anyways, this is a cooking video not a grammar lesson. Watch the video, try it at home. Most store bought BBQ sauce has too much nasty vinegar in it. YUCK! That's what motivated me to make my own BBQ sauce recipe. And now I'm sharing it with you! So...after you try my BBQ sauce recipe and lick your fingers, come back and give me 5 stars! Rate, comment, subscribe!

How to Grill Salmon Perfectly

Grilling salmon perfectly isn't easy. You must first catch some salmon, preferably from Alaska (fresh Alaskan salmon is the best, right?), then you must get ready to eat. Heat up the grill (really hot), spray lots of non-stick spray (lots, I said), then put the salmon on skin side up. Cook it that way for two minutes, flip it, slather the fish with sauce, cook it for five more minutes, then slide it off the grill (without the skin) onto your waiting plate and eat it up. Make sure you have lots of nice vegetables and don't make some nasty sauce. Olive oil and butter is a good sauce. Some spices will help too.

How to Make Taco Bell Hot Sauce

www.RecipeSecrets.us I always wanted to improve my cooking despite the fact that I am very bad at it, and nothing seems to come out well out of my hands. But I still got my hope and decided to start looking for some good recipes (what I mean by this is something that tastes good even with my clumsy skills). And I think I might have found it. I absolutely love restaurant food and the spices they use to make it so much different from what we make at home. I always wondered what made it so delicious despite the fact that we use the seemingly same ingredients at home, with worse results. Then I found a recipe book written by Ron Douglas, named (conveniently) "America's Secret Recipes", that advertised the fact that the book held restaurant secrets and recipes that the billion dollar companies like KFC, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster and many others are trying to keep away from the public. Who doesn't want to learn how to cook up a Pizza Hut house special huh? Yes, the book has it's share of Pizza Recipes and deserts! Yeah, actually I always wanted to know how they make those exceptionally tasty Tiramisu cakes. I always had it in for those. http The book also tries to make use of easy recipes in a sense of presenting the recipes by their signature companies, for example if you're looking for KFC specials, you will find them all in one spot so you don't need to read every recipe in the book to actually find what you're looking for. Overall, the book is worth that special price tag I ...

Garlic Shrimp Recipe

After 3 minutes on the second side, add the 1/8 cup of white wine and 2 tablespoons butter. Saute, turning shrimp occasionally, until it reaches a caramel brown color ...
