Carolina Brothers Pit Barbeque, Ashburn, Virginia

Bill and Blackies brake was where the W&OD trail and Ashburn Rd. intersect. At this intersection is a little place called Carolina Brothers Pit Barbeque. While we waited for Bill, Brenda and I ate some great food and visited with Danny Hurdle and his family. Mr. Hurdle talked to me about his business, the history behind the building which he now owns. When Bill arrived Mr. Hurdle showed him some family pictures. Bill was then presented with a huge plate of food. Carolina Brothers makes a vinegar based "North Carolina style" sauce which has a unique flavor. Needless to say Bill wasn't hungry for the rest of the day.

How To Make Barbecue Sauce, Barbeque Sauce or BBQ Sauce

In this video Tiedyeman shows how to make homemade barbeque sauce or BBQ sauce or barbecue sauce. How ever you spell it, I say it has a Q in it, but my computer's spell checker says it's spelled with a C instead of a Q. That doesn't look right to me, and if it doesn't have a Q then why is the abbreviation BBQ? Anyways, this is a cooking video not a grammar lesson. Watch the video, try it at home. Most store bought BBQ sauce has too much nasty vinegar in it. YUCK! That's what motivated me to make my own BBQ sauce recipe. And now I'm sharing it with you! So...after you try my BBQ sauce recipe and lick your fingers, come back and give me 5 stars! Rate, comment, subscribe!

How to Grill Salmon Perfectly

Grilling salmon perfectly isn't easy. You must first catch some salmon, preferably from Alaska (fresh Alaskan salmon is the best, right?), then you must get ready to eat. Heat up the grill (really hot), spray lots of non-stick spray (lots, I said), then put the salmon on skin side up. Cook it that way for two minutes, flip it, slather the fish with sauce, cook it for five more minutes, then slide it off the grill (without the skin) onto your waiting plate and eat it up. Make sure you have lots of nice vegetables and don't make some nasty sauce. Olive oil and butter is a good sauce. Some spices will help too.

How to Make Taco Bell Hot Sauce

www.RecipeSecrets.us I always wanted to improve my cooking despite the fact that I am very bad at it, and nothing seems to come out well out of my hands. But I still got my hope and decided to start looking for some good recipes (what I mean by this is something that tastes good even with my clumsy skills). And I think I might have found it. I absolutely love restaurant food and the spices they use to make it so much different from what we make at home. I always wondered what made it so delicious despite the fact that we use the seemingly same ingredients at home, with worse results. Then I found a recipe book written by Ron Douglas, named (conveniently) "America's Secret Recipes", that advertised the fact that the book held restaurant secrets and recipes that the billion dollar companies like KFC, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster and many others are trying to keep away from the public. Who doesn't want to learn how to cook up a Pizza Hut house special huh? Yes, the book has it's share of Pizza Recipes and deserts! Yeah, actually I always wanted to know how they make those exceptionally tasty Tiramisu cakes. I always had it in for those. http The book also tries to make use of easy recipes in a sense of presenting the recipes by their signature companies, for example if you're looking for KFC specials, you will find them all in one spot so you don't need to read every recipe in the book to actually find what you're looking for. Overall, the book is worth that special price tag I ...

Garlic Shrimp Recipe

Hawaii is known for its white sand beaches, tropical climate and fun water sports. But any food lover wil tell you that the real draw on Oahu is the fresh garlic shrimp, served at roadside shrimp trucks along the North Shore. Chef Jason Hill shows you how to make garlic shrimp scampi modeled after the famous shrimp shacks in Kahuku. At our favorite stop, Giovanni's shrimp truck, in Kahuku, each plate includes 12 shrimp with two mounds of steamed sticky calrose rice and a lemon wedge. We hope you enjoy this — it's almost a perfect replica of Giovanni's shrimp. Mahalo! Hawaiian Shrimp Truck Scampi 10 shell-on U-15 (extra large) shrimp, deveined 1 head (10 cloves) garlic, peeled and roughly chopped 1 cup flour 2 tablespoons paprika 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (1 tablespoon for spicier tastes) 1/2 stick clarified butter (see our video recipe) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 cup white wine 2 tablespoons regular butter To begin, rinse and thaw your large shrimp in cool running water. Lightly pat dry. In a wide tupperware dish, place the flour, paprika and cayenne pepper. Mix lightly with your hands and coat each piece of shrimp on both sides. Heat saute pan over high heat. Add clarified butter and garlic. Stir for 1 minute, then add all of the shrimp, which has been coated in the flour mixture. Saute 3 minutes on each side. After 3 minutes on the second side, add the 1/8 cup of white wine and 2 tablespoons butter. Saute, turning shrimp occasionally, until it reaches a caramel brown color ...
